I have been pursuing my artistic journey professionally since 2022, but I have been making art since my childhood. Art in many forms of cinema, music, fashion, architecture and makeup, are what inspire my artworks immensely.

I specialise in mixed media on canvas, charcoal and graphite on paper.
I am a self-taught artist, and have been exploring different mediums throughout my journey of art. I am a mixed media artist specialising in Abstract Art, Indian Contemporary and Portraits.
MY JOURNEY
Art is extremely subjective. Some people find time to appreciate it, while others find it overwhelming.
My journey with art, like most artists, is scary, thrilling, knowledgeable and rewarding. However, the freedom of abstraction and the fluidity of colours, allow me to best represent myself through Abstract Art and Indian Contemporary Art.

An Essence of Love
A two-part series.
The Mughal Queen - Part 1

This painting is Part one of this series, which is getting exhibited at the Bombay Art Society, on 4th September, 2023. It is a traditional Mughal Art Style painting with mixed media.
Using Gesso and Gold leaf, to play around with light and shadow, it gives the painting a very 3-dimensional effect.
For a person who has grown up being extremely fond of the Mughal Art style, I wanted these two paintings to present themselves as an ode to their influence on Art History. The boldness of colours, the richness and royalty that exudes from the painting, the jewellery and their traditional clothing, every element is given the utmost amount of detail and dealt with patience. It is an almost dying art style, given the politics of the country, and I want to retain it as much as possible.

The Kings, Muse, 2023, is the part - 2 of the series, "An Essence of Love", that is exhibited at the Bombay Art Society, from 4th Sept to 10th Sept, 2023. It is a Mughal Style painting, with mixed media.
The main subject of the two paintings, is a Lotus. That is considered as the true essence of love between the two individuals. This painting plays with a different colour palette, and a thicker border around the King. The gold leaf is used mainly on the oval border and to represent the 'sun' behind the king's head.
There is a certain warmth to both paintings, despite the contrast of Blue in them. In Mughal art, the portrayal of a Man and Woman, is often combined with love and affection. And, there is always a symbolic flower, or plant, that brings out the story more. There is always a certain beauty and femininity that is carried out by both, the man and woman, and I have always found that to be extremely beautiful. Here's hoping that it is showcased properly in my versions of it!

Web + logo Design
Kit’s Tattoo Studio
Designed the Logo and Website for a tattoo studio in Pune, India called ‘Kit’s Tattoo Studio and Training Institute’. The client wanted a complete change from their previous branding. I chose a very light and fun colour palette to give it a more chic and sophisticated feel. The access to any and every information is very easy on the website. I created a full package of web design, logo design, marketing, and helping this business with google analytics and search engine console.
I hand-drew the logo design using Procreate and refined it on Canva.
I wanted to add the tattoo machine in the logo somewhere and hence, made the ascender of the letter ‘K’, the tattoo gun.
I also created some other drafts for the client to choose from before we settled on this one.

Album Cover Concept for a Techno / House music duo called “Friday Flowing”.
RETRO-BOLLY
Following the theme of ‘Vibrant’, this artwork is inspired by 80's bollywood and truck art.
FUNK IT UP - LISTENING PARTY
This design poster was created as a concept poster for the made-up techno / house music duo - “Friday Flowing”. It’s a Listening party event, wherein the Music duo shall perform their new album/ep/single.
The idea was to create something dynamic, vibrant and funky, adding a touch of vintage with grain.

My journey
As a Sketch Artist
Sketching is how I started stepping into art as a child. Always competed in school competitions, art fairs, etc. I remember I promised myself to always stick to pencils and charcoal, and not get into painting. That, didn't go according to plan, for great reasons. However, learning drawing and practising it for more than 10+ years, has given me the skill-set of understanding perspective, geometry and precision.
